In citizen journalism, the public is not only a consumer of the media but can also be involved in the process of managing the information itself. Involvement includes collecting, creating, monitoring, correcting, responding or simply selecting the information to be read. Therefore, it is argued that citizen journalism not only provides space but also suggests and encourages readers to be involved in it.
